SmartRinger

SmartRinger is a full-featured H.323 traffic generator - the powerful software tool intended to perform various tests on IP telephony operator's network. It grants ability to estimate fault tolerance or loading capacity of network components by modelling a test traffic stream with predefined characteristics.

SmartRinger software features:

  • Works both in originator or terminator (answer) mode.
  • Can simulate traffic with given time (average duration and range of calls duration) and quantitative parameter (total calls, intensity). Can preform continuous stress-tests.
  • Brings ability to simulate mode with RAS client usage, or without it (tests with H.323 GateKeeper or without it).
  • Support of various H.323 signalling elements as options including an opportunity to enable H.323 FastStart procedure, H.245 tunneling e.t.c.).
  • Special random mode for continuous stress-tests of VOIP operator's network.
  • Various codecs usage modeling. DTMF indication transfer and RTCP statistics support.
